Honey's Bistro & Bakery on South Coast Hwy 101 Encinitas is a local favorite that will take you back to your grandma's kitchen. Jaime Osuna runs this family owned business with the help of his daughter Diana and his son Jaime who work there daily! Jaime states, "My kids have watched how everything works here after 15 years of business so it is natural that they work here since they are so experienced!" While speaking with Jaime I learned that he is also the owner of all three Swami's in Encinitas, Oceanside and La Mesa. I was wondering why the Honey's Acai Bowl was allowed to say 'Swami's Style'. Jaime went on to explain why the cafe was called Honey's. He stated, "Everything we make here has honey in it including our homemade granola and muffins." Honey's Bistro & Bakery most popular items are the Acai Bowls 'Swami's Style' and the specials.
