If you haven't been to Kaito, then you haven't experienced Heaven. This is the BEST sushi restaurant I have been to in San Diego. They have the freshest uni one can find in San Diego. The chefs are very personable and the service is EXCELLENT. Ryan has a way to make you feel very welcomed at the restaurant and everyone there is friendly. The sushi chefs are creative so every visit is unique. The spaghetti with soft shell crab is to die for. I highly recommend you sit at the sushi bar when you go. We never order sushi off the menu because it's more fun to let the sushi chefs make whatever they feel like. They always pick the freshest fish to serve so don't be afraid to try whatever they put in front of you. Guaranteed to be good. After a visit, you'll definitely want to go back. After a few more visits and the place will be like home.
