Being not sure what type of running shoe to get, I was asked to demonstrate my running gait. I was then asked to give each of the shoes I put on a try outside the store. This quickly narrowed my selection down to two. Gotta say, the pair I purchased were not originally considered having done some research on the Web. Had I not been able to try them on before buying, I would have been missing out. To conclude, the price for the shoes were the going rate. I will be a returning customer.

I spoke with Gordy Haskett, employee at the Encinitas location for the last seven years. He was helpful and eager to explain the love of running and the sense of community that keeps loyal customers coming back. During the interview, I witnessed this first hand while observing Jim Ohara, employee for the last 10 years, help a customer with a shoe fitting. She was happy with the help and attention she received.
