It's Been A Lot Better
If one wants a hardcore, local sports bar, then this is the place to come on a Sunday afternoon. Regulars were everywhere and very friendly with staff. Many were absolutely _hit-faced. I'm happy for them.

Me? I came here for the fresh beer and pizza. The beer isn't great, but it offers more than the IPA-heavy menus everyone else offers in 2021. I had a cream, pale, Scottish and stout. Paying $7.50 for a pint gave me sticker shock, all right.

I ordered a so-called "extra large" Margherita pizza. There simply wasn't enough pizza there. It was all right, I suppose, and even microwaved in my motel room the next morning decently. $60 with conservative tip out the door just didn't seem worth it overall.

I first discovered the place in Huntington Beach, CA. It also catered to heavy sports fans. It is now closed for some reason. Since I'm not a sports fan and am no longer pleased with the overall value, then it is unlikely I will return. I'll go to Borelli's on Camino Real instead.
