Dr. Subramanian believes in the compassionate care of patients, personalizing their care with the newest diagnostic tests and integrating the latest in clinical research.{line break}She integrates complementary and holistic programs into her daily practice providing an optimal healing environment for mind and body.{line break}Since completing her fellowship in 2003, Dr. Subramanian went into private practice at Compassionate Cancer Care in Orange County, CA. She specialized in breast cancer care and set up breast care centers in Huntington Beach. She was also Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Irvine. She moved to San Diego in 2005 and became Director of the Breast Cancer program at San Diego Cancer Center. She set up a comprehensive community-academic partnership for breast cancer care with high risk testing, genetic counseling and multi-disciplinary tumor boards with participation from community and academic physicians. She runs a busy breast care clinic providing patients the latest in Breast Cancer treatments,prevention,and surveillance. With the merger with UC San Diego, Dr. Subramanian is now an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC San Diego. She sees patients in Encinitas and Vista.{line break}She enjoys being a mother to two kids, yoga, traveling, and reading.
