Christina Brooks is the most unfair business owner I have EVER encountered.

After calling THREE times and leaving 2 messages with no calls back, I show up at the salon and surprise!, the owner, CHRISTINA BROOKS tells me that my hairstylist Christie is now "gone" and that she moved to the east coast (which I found out later she hadn't!!) and that she (Christina) is going to do my hair. wish someone would have mentioned that! Against my better judgement, I decided to go ahead and let her do my hair. I had golden blonde and light brown hi-lights when I went in and told her I wanted some darker reddish-brown lo-lights mixed in with my blonde hi-lights and told her that I had my hair dark once and hated it. So what does she do? She adds an ORANGE BROWN "root color" and turns me into a complete BRUNETTE! I HATE IT! When I emailed her last night to see if she would fix it, I got a response this morning telling me she could fix it NEXT Wednesday! NO, I will NOT wait that long when I hate my hair! She also tried to say that's what I asked for...why in the WORLD would I want ORANGE hair?!?!

I asked for a refund and she said that "was not salon policy". Then she said that she could fix it today...wait, but she just said she can't until next week!

Well, I called my credit card company and cancelled the payment and then went to a different salon to get it fixed!!

DO NOT TRUST CHRSITINA BROOKS; SHE WILL DO WHAT SHE WANTS AND WILL ARGUE WITH YOU AND TELL YOU THAT IS WHAT YOU WANTED.

I have had my hair done at quite a few salons in san diego and this one was by far the nicest and best I have been too. The service was great, the stylist paid extra attention to my wants and needs. Very professional and the environment made me want to keep coming back.
