I expected that when my friend hired a wedding planner that her "special day" would be very smooth. Instead her planner Tara Bernard did not take charge and coordinate the event. She was laid back and let everything unfold around her. The wedding party, friends and family had to jump in and assist with everything. From the rehearsal, to fixing the ceremony confusion, and everything else in between. Mostly the bride had to step in and smooth out the unexpected things that were overlooked.

Lastly I suggested that the bride talk to Tara afterwards to explain her dissatisfaction with her. I thought she would be accommodating to the bride and out of good business practice would apologize. No such behavior.....

On the day of the wedding, she was not worried about the details. The purpose for hiring her was so that we would not have to worry about little mishaps that went on through out the day, when mishaps arose, she was not quick to keep order.

She is a big risk!

I would not recommend this business. Wedding planner, Tara Bernard, is only interested in getting paid. She does not care if your event is successful. The guest at my wedding felt she was overwhelm as a result she did not assist them with seating and they had to figure things out for themselves. Two major events were skipped over because of this planner's inability to make things happen. Guest over heard her making planns to blame the DJ for her mistakes. Very Very unprofessional. The wedding rehearsal was inadequate.
