Just recently called Arapahoe Auto Salvage Parts for a Cadillac motor, spoke with Donny. He located one for me immediately and asked me call the next day for a delivery date. I called the next day and he gave me a date for three days later, two days later he called and said he had the motor, I asked if he could hold it for me a couple of days because I wasn't ready to pick it up.. he said no problem. I went to pick it up a week later, not only he had the motor waiting for me, he also was very professional and helpful.By the way.... he had the best price in town.

I Bought 2 front struts for $180 each from donnie

They were worn out.

He refused to refund the money,

He said he would give me another set, but he did not have one.

That was 2 years ago. I have called many times. he still has my money

He cheats.

It has been over a year since Arapahoe Auto said they would call me when they got a replacement strut to give me. I paid for thrm last year. He will not return my money, nor allow me to take other parts

I would disagree with the negative review by Len. I have always had good experiences with Donny at Arapahoe personally. I have bought several cars and parts from him and everything has always been fine and Donny tends to take good care of his return customers. When you buy parts from a salvage yard you need to be realistic, they are used parts and as such are not going to always be perfect. Buying struts used is never a really good idea, especially when you can buy them new almost anywhere. It's no surprise the parts were worn.

I Have bought from Donny at Arapahoe for years.Occasionally I got a bad part. He would replace it.I just bought 2 struts for near $200 from him. I thought one was bad. He replaced it, That one was also bad. He sent me to have the front end aligned (again) The Mechanic said that I had the 2 worst struts he had ever seen.I went back to Arapahoe and they said they would replace them, but they did not have any good ones. three weeks later he still says when he gets good ones in he will replace them. He said it could take a couple months. I need the car! He will not either refund the money, nor give me the value in other parts (head lamps or side mirror) I will buy from the internet from now on. I no longer reccomend Arapahoe auto salvage.
