Kent Denver School continues the proud traditions of the Kent School for Girls founded in 1922 and the Denver Country Day School founded for boys in 1953. The schools united in 1974 to form Kent Denver School.
Kent Denver graduates currently attend many of the country's leading colleges and universities, with the highest number of matriculations over the past five years at Colorado College, Dartmouth, University of Denver, Lehigh, Miami University (Ohio), Northwestern, University of Puget Sound, University of Southern California, Southern Methodist University, Stanford, University of Colorado, University of Denver, Washington University, and Wesleyan.
