My forced air heater quit working, so I started calling all the major companies at roughly 6:30 PM on a weeknight. Plumbline was first, and the customer rep I talked to (Amy) was polite and helpful, and was upfront about pricing options and time slots available. She didn't need anything more from me than my general area of town where I was located. I was shopping at the time, so I made note of Plumbline's rates and availability and called a few other places. Well, all the other places seemed to want my whole life's history before they would even begin to talk price. Sorry, you don't need my address and full name to tell me how much it costs for a tech to appear. Needless to say, I called Plumbline back, and Amy had a tech out to my house in very short order. The tech (Jimmy) was pleasant, presentable, had a good attitude and had me up and running in no time at all. The fix ended up being simple. My first and only call next time will be to Plumbline. A VERY positive experience!

The complaints from these customers are with out merit. Read them carefully and I think you'll agree that most of the complaints are warrantless price complaints. Di that customer really get a plumber to his house to install an O-ring for $10. I don't know who is the more clueless--that customer or the $10 plumberIts a crazy world out there

We called them to come fix our hot water heater. The technician gave my husband a quote of $3600 for the heater and he asked what part of that was the heater and what labor. The guy said the heater was worth $2500 (he thought) but only his manager knew for sure and he wasn't available. After the work was done and paid for, the manager told us the heater was only worth $800. So they had a 500% markup on the parts plus labor!!! Complete bait and switch and lies. DO NOT USE THEM!!

I had a leaking backflow valve to my sprinkler system and called Plumbline to fix it. They arrived quickly and professionally, but then gave me a quote of $650 to replace the valve with only a glance at it. I called another plumber for a second opinion, and he came out, opened the valve and replaced an o-ring. Problem was fixed for $10, instead of $650. I was extremely glad that I got a second opinion, and I will never call Plumbline again.

I think that service was very professional and quick. However, this came at the price that I found later to be too high for services rendered. Service technician replaced my gas control valve in 15 minutes (on water heater) for $450. I looked up the part online and it the average cost is $150. I can't believe that I was charged $300 for 15 minutes of labor. He also suggested changing the pipe for another $450!? In the end he thought that it may be a better idea to replace the entire heater for $1600. I would strongly suggest that you explore your options before calling this company.

Although we called on only a drippy fauces repair the service man did more than just fix a faucet. He found the root of the problem which was a higher-than-suggested p.s.i (house water pressure). He adjusted the valve and then asked if he could check the rest of the potential problem fixtures in the house. He found nothing else wrong, offered a service contract with no sales pressure, and was on his way. The pricing was not cheap, but I have yet to meet a licensed plumber from a reputable company that was. I felt a received fair, prompt, and thorough service at a good market price. I will use Plumbline again and recommend them to my friends.

I had these guys come out to look at a broken backflow valve. He was unable to get parts for the old one in a reasonable time frame..So he quoted me $815...to replace the old one...I went to the exact same plumbing supply house that he went to and bought the part for $327...This wasnt even in a building just had to attach it to my Hydrant meter...took me 15 minutes to install. I still had to pay $132 for a trip charge and trip to the supply house. The trip charge I understand...but $95 for a guy to run to the supply house and return with nothing...took 20 min for me to get there and purchase the B/F valve and get it back to my jobsite..So just beware of being ripped off
