Provided by YP.comI have been very pleased with the service and selection that RMFC has provided. I order the flags for a Town in the Denver area. We purchase our US, CO and custom flags from RMFC. They are professional, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They have been able to stock our flag inventory, install poles, and even do some repairs. I recommend them for any business of individual.

Provided by YP.comI drive all the way from Castle Rock to do face-to-face business with this shop. Why? Everyone there exudes great friendliness and a strong sense of country, faith and family, which are all things that I very much cherish. In addition, the staff has been very creative and responsive to my requests; they are always patient and most gracious. I will always bring my "patriotic needs" to this shop, where it is always a pleasure to do business!

Provided by YP.comI wonder how many people use this company for full service of their US flags. They say they will maintain them and properly dispose of them. I found that they will dispose of your US flag in the trash. That is where I found Kuni Lexus of Littleton 10'X15' US flag. Kuni says they have used Rocky Mountain Flag Co for 7yrs, and had no idea this was happening. They say they are BBB accredited, They don't show up on BBB web sight. What is even more disgusting, They say they are a veteran owned company.
Dear sir, We pride ourselves as a full-service flag company able to provide flags, flagpoles, installation, repairs and retirement of flags. As a USAF veteran, I take great pride is displaying the American flag and keeping it looking good for all of my clients. When the U.S. flag is no longer serviceable it should be retired, preferably by burning. Even the word "burning" can take on a negative connotation in today's society. Our retirement ceremonies have been attended by military veterans, boy scouts and the general public. The ceremony is a dignified ceremony (often many hours long) where hundreds of flags are retired at a time. In order to perform a retirement (burning) ceremony, there a several steps that must occur. 1) We have obtained a burn permit from the Cunningham Fire Protection District ($50) and we are limited as to the burn days/times in which we can perform the ceremony. In the winter months Colorado has imposed burn restrictions (Red Air Days) when the temperature inversion holds pollution along the front range (The Brown Cloud). Therefore the fire department and Clean Air Colorado have restricted the months when we can legally perform this ceremony -- April 1 - October 1. Additionally, in the summer months, many days are too hot and dry to allow for controlled burn ceremonies. Other days are too windy and also pose dangers for fires to spread. In summary, there are very few days per year that we can legally and safely perform a retirement ceremony. Our new store in located adjacent to five or six restaurants. The sometimes toxic smoke is irritable to customers in the area and restricts us even more. Our solution: We take our flags to the LCW American Legion Post #1, of which I am a member. The post is away from food establishments and has a better opportunity to ensure the proper retirement of all US flags not fit to fly any longer. We regret any bag that may have contained flags that made its way to a trash dumpster rather than the VFW or American Legion--it was a mistake. Please accept our apology, it was not intended.
