Response to Gary... we did what was asked of as a master goldsmith. (Originally commissioned by someone other than yourself as a gift). Reworked the ($125 silver) piece three times at no additional cost. You still wanted something different. Decided to stop wasting time and refunded money in full. There comes a time when a professional just has to cut ties.

I would love to go into details about what happened but there is not enough space to put it all on this review site.

Lets just say that the jeweler was commissioned to make a necklace pendant from a coin that was supplied. My girlfriend wanted to surprise me for my birthday. He was given examples of what was wanted. when promised it would be done in 2 weeks, he took 6 and did what he wanted instead of what was asked. I hated it!

He then attempt to do it again and after another 4 weeks I stopped in the store to see the progress and found he had done nothing with it. I explained in detail what I wanted with examples. He said OK, be done in 2 weeks. 3 weeks later still not done. Finally finished 4 weeks later and he still did what he wanted and not what was asked. 13 weeks total!

When asked to make it right. He refused and refunded the money.

So now I need to find another jeweler. Good thing I know of one in Michigan.

I will never take anything to him or recommend him to anyone.
