"BBB" Stands for bleach (liquid chlorine), borax and baking soda. We never use pucks to chlorinate and sanaitize your pool water. Trichlor pucks ad cyanuric acid, cya for short, (pool stabilizer or conditioner) which over time builds up and renders your chlorine basically useless. In most cases people that use trichlor pucks and granulated shock will need to drain their pool to reduce the levels of cya by as much as half and in some severe cases 80%.
