Eric Lowenthal, founder and president of Marlow Candy & Nut Company actually started in the candy business when he was 6 years old helping his father service candy vending machines. Candy is Eric's life. Marlow Candy was founded in 1968, incorporated in 1970, and grew from a storefront in the Bronx to its present location in New Jersey. Due to Marlow's success and growth it was necessary for Eric to move three times before finally settling into its present location in 1979, where he has already expanded twice. Eric's knowledge of the candy business is unsurpassed. Like the great wine tasters that can smell the wine and tell you the region it's from, Eric can look at a piece of candy and know its country of origin. There isn't anybody in the peg candy business with as much knowledge. In the marketplace Marlow's reputation for integrity and quality is what keeps stores and distributors alike coming back. Marlow has many distributors who have been using the Marlow brand exclusively for over 25 years and some for over 30 years. This is a tribute to Marlow and its dedication to quality, customer service and support to all who have become distributors. Marlow, with Eric's guidance along with his dedicated employees has grown every year since its inception. So much so that it is the 1 peg candy line in the metro New York area. And like Frank Sinatra said, "If I can make it there I'll make it anywhere".
