Belle Valley Fire Department is located in Erie, Pa., offering protection and emergency services to the community. Its services include fire suppression, rescue and extrication, emergency medical services, service calls and fire prevention and education. BVFD operates fire engines and a heavy rescue and quick response support vehicle and has an aerial tower for communication purposes. The department is also a joint owner of the Millcreek Paramedic Service with other volunteer fire departments in Millcreek Township, Pa., including Kearsarge, West Ridge, West Lake and Lake Shore, Va. BVFD offers its services to residential, commercial, industrial and farming areas, such as high-rise apartment buildings and hotels, schools and universities, nursing facilities, shopping complexes and indoor amusement and water parks.
