They have a 10 minute policy, no excuses. My husband is gravely ill with cancer so I was 10 minutes late for our appointment after being up all night with him. My child is unable to receive any shots that are live vaccines, because of his fathers condition, so the practice is aware of our situation. When I arrived 10 minutes late I had to stand in line for 5 minutes before getting to the front desk. They said sorry the doctor can't see you, we have a 10 minute rule. I was also told in the past when I had to cancel my child's appointment due to his father being in intensive care in Pittsburgh, that they only allow 2 cancelled appointments, if it happens again I would have to find a new doctor. I understand there must be rules to hold people accountable but a little compassion would be greatly appreciated. Life isn't always easy for people, we do the best we can.
