My daughter has attended several different day cares and always hated going, until she started attending the Pennbriar. She loved it! I had every other Friday off and would ask her if she wanted to go to day care or stay home with me. She always picked "go to daycare!" She attended from about age 8 to age 12. She made a lot of friends there and staff seemed to be a lot of fun (like playing games with them, not just watching them play). I am currently trying to get my younger child in but they are full. I also noticed staff members carrying and playing with the babies a lot and not just leaving them in cribs or something. Very affordable, as well. (It was $65 a week for after school care and they picked her up from school-two years ago, may be more now. I think full time in the summer was about $650 a month.) Lots of field trips and older kids play in the wave pool in the summer. Most of the other kids were well behaved, too. She didn't pick up any bad habits.
