Well i got my boat today. Started off as a 180 dollar carb rebuild. I wanted the electric choke fixed along with the lower end oil changed but i wanted process which he would not tell me and his reason is because he couldn't. Not even a ruff ball park. So everytime i talked to him i asked still no answers. Boat was suppose to be done thurs. He tells me to call him thurs morning to see where they were at. I did he was not there. I call back get in touch with himand he informs new muy number 3 cylinder is not firing and probably has a cracked reed and to call late afternoon to see if they would be done. I did so and he informs me the will have it done Fri. I call Fri he's not there. I call back and he then informs me the boat is done but i can't pick it up because they have to take someone's motor to Pittsburgh so they're leaving at like one or so. I pick up my boat today he tells me that before i have a coronary that the electric choke was 179 bucks. I told him i could have ordered it myself for less than 50. He then starts telling me he's irritated with me because i called him to much. I replied i only called when you told me to. He was very rude towards me. He could have called and told me the cost of parts and i would have ordered it myself. Then tells me he'll take it off but i have to pay for the labor. John is a great guy and a super nice guy but a horrible business man. My bill came out to a little over 500. I own 4 boats. Never will another come here

Don't go here ever or even send someone .

My boat sat there for over 25 days because he didn't know when his tech was going to be back . I called we made the appointment then he tells me one week. This guy is a joke !!

I had to pick my boat up in peices and have someone else fix it !

He was going to charge me twice the price I got it done for.

John fixed my 1978 Mercury engine, I have never had any problems with it since.

Did not have a good experience with this merchant. Recently purchased a used motor that had been sitting for two years after being supposedly rebuilt by this merchant. Was not able to get motor started so returned the motor to the merchant to have it checked out. When arrived was told mechanic was out and would not return for an hour or so but if I left the motor he would call when he returned. Waited all day, no return call do went back to shop. Was then told there was four other motors ahead of me and it would be three to four days before they got to it. Called four days later and was told it wasn't scheduled to be worked on for another four days but if I didn't want to wait I could come pick up the motor. This was on a Saturday. Waited till Monday and decided to go pick up motor because I didn't want to wait and had found someone else to work on it. When I arrived the owner came out with an attitude saying he gas been working on the motor since Saturday and it needed a water pump and points and a carburetor. This is the same shop that supposedly rebuilt the motor two years before it was placed in storage.
