We requested a quote, which we received in a timely manner, however we informed Dave that we would be getting another estimate and we would get back to him. He said that was fine and to let him know. The next day, we come home from work and our stumps were ground down. Confused, we called our parents, asked neighbors, etc. Nobody had seen anything and our parents didn’t have the service paid for. We didn’t have a bill or anything to indicate someone was on our property for this service. Today, three weeks later, the owner himself showed up at 7:30pm POUNDING on our front door demanding to be paid. He could not tell us what we owed but he demanded we pay him. He began to get belligerent and yelling to the point our neighbors came out. He threatened to take us to court for his mistake. Never ever use Scott’s Tree Service. Extremely unprofessional owner- insisting we pay and he will even “knock off $100” for his mistake. He only left when he was kicked off our property.
