I found Bob's Gem Shop's reviews on Yelp and decided to give them a call for an appraisal on my mother's estate. Though she was a big shopper and had a lot of things, Wayne and his son Will quickly sorted out what I had into the valuable and the not so valuable. Wayne and his wife sat down with the pieces to be appraised for insurance and took down the info after giving me a quick verbal quote on the other stuff, gave it all back to me and I had my appraisals in the mail three days later.

This place is excellent. I had several rings that no longer fit and a pair of earrings (my favorites!) that had broken that I have had them resize and repair for me. My jewelry always comes back right and Wayne has always treated me with kindness, honesty, and respect. It is the only place I will ever go again to have my jewelry taken care of. They obviously care a great deal about their customers and the quality of work that they do.

For over 32 years, Bob's Gem Shop has been offering what few jewelry stores offer these days: good customer service. Now owned and run by Wayne Bray and his family, I got to experience a TRUE mom and pop store. With customers ranging from 20 years old to 99 years old they understand that when they take in a piece of jewelry to be created, repaired or redesigned there's got to be a certain trust level there. Ernesto Pińa has been the master jeweler at Bob's for 32 years, creating and repairing jewelry for 60 years. All of his work is so beautiful and detailed that it doesn't stay on display for very long before someone comes and buys it. Services include jewelry and watch repairs, appraisals. They buy all metals, custom design jewelry. They have new, wholesale and estate sale diamonds. They'll even clean your jewelry for free. There's a very casual and real vibe in the store that you don't find in many other jewelry stores. Nothing is intimidating.

I brought two of my favorite rings in to be resized after I lost weight. I was told it would take about a week for them to be finished and was amazed when the owner called me 2 days later to say that they were already finished. Both rings looked brand new!! They were fast, friendly, and reasonably priced.

I wanted to give my husband a special gift for our 4th anniversary and they helped me design the perfect ring for him. Not only did the ring turn out beautiful (my husband LOVED it), their prices were very reasonable and it didn't take very long. They were very friendly and patient while they helped me make my decisions.
