Kris c. You are right this just happened to my family of 5. Our year lease is up next month. I complained about roaches and the Fact that my children's bedroom ceiling leaked water EVERY TIME it rained!!! I want to seek legal council but from what my research shows it appears perfectly legal ugh

This is not a professionally managed apartment complex. The manager is the niece of the owner. If you ask for repairs or roaches to be eradicated you will receive a notice that your lease is not being renewed and you must leave when it ends.
