5 year battle ended

My sister died this past summer after a five year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Dr. Joel Lamon during this time no doubt made a fortune off my sister's illness. There is no cure for Pancreatic Cancer. During my sisters last six months she was in and out of the hospital for blood transfusions, CT Scans on a regular basis, and even encourage to travel to LA to go through unnecessary tests for a potential new trail. She was so weak, so sick but his college buddy was heading up this trail that she might be eligible for...what for to treat more like a labratory rat then a frail woman who didn't have long to live. The bedside manner of Dr. Lamon is cold and removed and lacking normal human compassion. It was my sisters strong will to live and will to fight this disease and her endless research on the subject. Dr. Lamon from the beginning misdirected her with starting chemo right away (in pill form) when she couIld eat and keep food down, with a weight loss coming in at 98 pounds. Now, why would I have to tell him this (she couldn't keep a pill down) why start chemo until we addressed her getting nourishment. Drug companies wine and dine doctor's to use their drugs...It should be unlawful for doctors to receive any benefits from using chemo drugs for their own personal gain. It should be unlawful for doctors to make a fortune off the terminal ill. Doctor's should be required to have training in compassion especially when death in the door-way. We asked for the feeding TPM, the pain patch, the blood test for pancreatic cancer and she asked to go home from the hospital to die.
