I called to ask them if their firm would take a case against EDD. He first of all corrected me by saying I would not have a case against them, I would be appealing them. Ok, whatever. Then he went on to ask how I expected to pay for his services. I asked what his fees were. He responded, "$250 an hour. Do you think you can afford that?" What a jerk! He thinks he's so much better than everyone else. How am I supposed to know everything about how the law works? That's why I'm hiring a lawyer. How am I supposed to pay $250 an hour? That's why I applied for state disability insurance benefits. And, I'm disabled and have been denied benefits that I qualify for and have paid into the system for. Have a little sympathy! My advice, use another firm that actually cares about you!

Graves gave me two minutes to explain my case and said he does not want to waste his time. I have found a large office that wants to represent me so stay away from Graves, he does not care about your rights. He only cares about his profit. I recommend Grady and associates they want you to know your rights!!
