I loved the tour, it was a very nice experience I'm hoping to come back and stay there for some time!

My husband and I are here right now and were so excited to come back and stay in the Mountain Villas after previewing them last year...but alas, in a mountain villa I am not.



I arrived with the need to check in and get started baking a wedding cake and cupcakes I am down here for and was told after a ten minute wait that the mountain villa room is going through "unexpected maintenance issues."

To the office managers credit she was very pleasant.

She offered me two choices...a two room place in the oldest part of the complex and move to a mountain villa on Sunday, or stay in the larger two room place the whole week.



Being so incredibly desperate to get in and start baking I chose to move on Sunday. We have a credit for 4 people to eat at the Canyon Grille (crappy reviews but we havent been there yet) and I switched to stay here for the whole week because who wants to pack up and switch rooms mid day on Sunday?



The room is large. Bathrooms and Kitchen have been updated but here are my issues:

~The tack strip underneath the carpet in between the living room and the dining/kitchen area can be felt so you get little pricks on your feet.



~The dishwasher runs for HOURS regardless of setting. We have stopped it after 2 and a half.



~Carpet is frayed in between one king room and the dining area



~The stovetop has only one burner working well at a time. If you have more than one on, the other will get warm, but wont cook.



I loved this place last year but am so disenchanted this time that I will not be back. And who believes they had a real maintenance issue? please. No one knows that an issue will be resolved by a check out time in a couple of days.
