Provided by YP.comI have had my hair dyed here three times, and have been absolutely satisfied. They are thorough, polite and work with you to decide what is best.

Provided by YP.comI am writing this review in hopes of protecting prospective students and clients.
This place is horrible and for multiple reasons.. The facility is not up to California State Board Standards: dirty shampoo bowls, students who go here do not clean their tools after each client and it is not enforced by instructors, whose licenses are on the line and the products used are brought from people's homes, and you can never know what is in them if you have any allergies or concerns. There is really poor air circulation, which is horrible when someone is preforming acrylic nails.
As a student, I was let down: no tour of the school before I enrolled and the learning curriculum that I signed up for is non-existent. Especially for the cosmetology crossover program. As a female enrolled in the barber program, I am harassed through vulgar music and clients, Yet the staff is extremely apathetic. It seems like no one wants to deal with you as a student, teach you new things or accommodate any problems, and as a result you can see what a bad job the students do and endanger the clients. It is so bad that the clients coming in to the school to get services is on a drastic downfall because they are tired of the profanity and derogatory language offered by the students and staff, therefore you will not have very much opportunity to practice and hone your skills on clients.
This place is not federally funded, so you cannot receive student aid. The price may seem low, but without Federal Student Loans, you are paying the same amount as someone who goes to a school that is up to standards and allows loans.. If i could turn back time, I would have never signed up for this mess.

Provided by YP.comI took a friend to this beauty school for hair color. Since it was close to closing time when they finished the instructor was helping the student apply toner and dry her hair. They decided she needed oil in her hair since it was dry. The instructor went to get the oil and returned with a tube, squirted it in his hands rubbed it in her hair only to discover it was red semi permanent hair dye. The instructor did not seem in the least concerned and had to be asked to try and rinse it out. The instructor did not offer to make it right and I have been trying to contact someone at the school for over a week. If you like your hair I don’t recommend it.

Provided by YPmobileI'm a current student at this school and I do not recomend it. It is poorly equipped and they offer programs that they do not have fulltime instructors for, example they offer a barber program but they only have one barber instructor that only comes one day a week. Their class schedule is incoherent. They are not organized at all. Freshman students hardly get any help and they do not have an intructor.
