We have 5 dogs that require regular grooming. I had an appointment at 8:40 this morning. I was running late due to unforeseen circumstances, so my better half called and stated this. She said one dog had gotten loose this morning and we may not get him in time but we would try. Cathy advised her that it was ok and to go ahead and come for the appointment. I loaded up one dog and found the other on the way and proceeded to the appointment. I pulled into the parking lot at 8:46. Cathy came out and said well your going on twenty minutes late and I was told you would only have one dog so we need to just reschedule. I checked the time after we spoke and it was 8:48. Just to clarify she was told we would definitely have one dog but hoped to find the second on the way to bring him too. She said to me they have a policy of canceling appointments if past 20 minutes late(which I was not). Her demeanor was not inviting at all but quite the opposite. It was obvious I was not happy about being turned away after being told to continue to the appointment by Cathy on the phone. Cathy said "I hate to be that way" and said "well, not enough not to do it" and that was the end of it. I called my better half to let her know and left. My better half called the business and was verbally yelled at on the phone. This is completely unprofessional. We knew this business from the last owner (Sandy) and was truly appalled by the new customer service standards. We had not realized the business had sold to a new owner until we reached out to provide feedback. This was just terrible service and everyone should know that etowah k-9 connection is no more and the new staff cares nothing about service. We told Cathy on the phone that we would take our business elsewhere and her reply was "ok fine good for you".

Would not recommend this business. Took my 4 month old shih tzu puppy for a puppy trim. I could not see any difference in his appearance when I picked him up. When we arrived home he was in extreme pain, had to take him to the vet which after taking xrays determined he had pulled muscles in his back which cost me $200.00. So needless to say that was an expensive grooming.

I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you want your animal treated right and looking good! The owner is the sweetest! and their new stylist Heather has over 11 yrs. experience! My dog has never looked better! Ask for Heather!
