For goodness sake. Craigslist? Give me a break. What a scam. Take your items to this business and see before falling for an idea that is so off the wall. Anyone on Craigslist can say anything. They don't have a reputation to protect. I expected to get a fair appraisal and got one. I didn't have to close a deal but was very satisfied that I made the right decision.

Anyone that says they are a good business is lying. In fact, it was probably the owner disguised as a regular customer. I read the raved review and I honestly believe it was made up. The owners probably asked a buddy to write a nice comment to salvage the negative ones. Yeah, good luck with that working. Real and hard working folks will see right through it.

This place paid me $150 for about 10 precious gold jewelry pieces I brought in and I found out afterwards that a fair deal would have been at least $500 because he would make so much money. It's because of this business that I no longer trust sales people. It's not just that it effected me in selling my gold and that is really sad. The owner totally ripped me off and I am still so upset with myself that I had no clue and he knew I was a "stupid woman". I wish that the local news would do a hidden camera bust on this guy to expose how he,A. Treats hard working people in the community because he's a jerk.B. Rips people off and only thinks about himself and profit margin.I know this seems silly to be this upset with a business but I can't stress enough that you do NOT sell to this guy. He will rip you off and not even care one tiny shred.

Want to know the truth? Do you really believe one could have received more money from "a couple of guys on craigslist?" Or that this store "couldn't afford" to buy something? These stories are nonsense and obviously fabricated to try to bring down a perfectly decent business. Everyone I speak with who deals with them is very happy with the fair prices they pay and the friendly service received. Word of mouth is of utmost importance in this town, and for 32 years this family-run business has been doing it right, receiving much of their business from referrals. There is absolutely no "pawn shop" feel to this place, and many customers tend to stay a while and chat. David and Ken are particularly helpful and generous with their time, sharing their knowledge with anyone who has questions. C'mon people, don't be influenced by a couple of bogus negative reviews--let yourself be the judge and give this store a fair chance. Thousands of happy customers over the years can't be wrong.

I sold some gold and silver to these guys. They were very rude and I had to wait outside. After I sold, I found out I could have gotten a lot more from a couple guys on Craigslist. I lost about $400 in the deal!!
