Provided by YP.comThe food was excellent. I got the wings and was happy with the overall flavor. The server was really knowledgeable and he was friendly. They have some really cool drink specials and a few I have not seen anywhere else in Eugene. The overall atmosphere was really cool and the view of the river is wonderful. I also like that the place seems formal enough to feel nice but laid back enough that you could eat here in jeans and a t-shirt. Looking at some of the reviews, it seems like some are from their catering business which I can't comment on but as for the restaurant portion I will be back for sure.

Provided by YP.comThis used to be a great catering place, but now they have opened the doors as a restaurant. It is an eclectic Eugene experience. A burger menu to die for. All kinds of games and a pool table to have fun on. Great beer selection too. Great place.

Provided by YP.comLewis and Clark Catering is a beautiful venue to have a wedding and it seemed like a great deal. However beware when booking your date with Anthony Parshall. After putting our 500 dollar deposit down for the date he told us was available, he emailed my mom on a Saturday only to tell us he made a mistake and double booked us. Not a huge deal, however my mom did not get the email until almost a week later explaining the situation.
We were not upset that we would have to change the date, we were upset that he thought email was an appropriate means to tell a client their wedding has been cancelled. I’m just lucky that out of town family hadn’t started buying airplane tickets or I didn’t buy any invitations. When I spoke to him on the phone to set up a time to meet in person to find a new date I explained very politely how this was an inconvenience and that I had been spending a lot of time planning for my wedding. Had he just called to inform us, I could have spent that time finding another date that would work. Anthony assured me that we could work something out and that they provide excellent service to all their clients. Not once during this conversation did he apologize.
I woke up the morning of our scheduled appointment to find this email:
Hello Lindsey,
I hope the day finds you well...I have been thinking a lot about your event and feel really bad about the way things have gone...we made a mistake and unfortunately that has created a bad tone and I don't want that tone to resonate through your special day, you deserve to have a stress free amazing experience, so I think it would be best for both of us if we parted ways with this event...again I apologize for the way things turned out...I wish you nothing but the best and a life filled with love, mirth and merriment.
Once again, no phone call. I showed up to the building when we were supposed to have our appointment in order to collect my deposit check and he was nowhere to be found. I left him a voicemail and later that evening I emailed him. I did not hear from him all weekend and he never mentioned returning my deposit check in the email. I called him Monday and he did not answer. Finally my mom was able to get ahold of him and we will be getting that back.
Again, Lewis and Clark Catering is a very nice venue, and Anthony seemed like he is a nice person who means well. However, he has only had his business for a year and seems very unorganized. I was excited after reading all the great reviews and then extremely disappointed with the experience I had since now I am having to scramble to find a whole new venue and date. I recommend that if you are looking into Lewis and Clark Catering, make sure that Anthony has your date correct and that if anything goes wrong expect that he will be a coward and try to avoid you.
