Provided by YP.comI bought a used washing machine about 15 years ago from Mr. Appliance and it's still working perfectly. Then I was given a really old (circa 1950s) 40" electric range that had several things wrong with it. First I took it to Oldfields because they said they would fix it. Then I had to turn right around and pick it up because Oldfields said it couldn't be repaired. So I took it over to Mr. Appliance. They fixed everything I wanted fixed -- even relined the ovens ... only charged me $300 and got all the work done in less than a week! That was about 4 years ago and everything still works perfectly. Mr. Appliance, in my opinion, is the best place to go for used appliances and the only place to go when you need something repaired.

Provided by YP.comAll three appliances have issues including the fridge we paid $500 for that we can't use at all. They charge $79 to repair. Otherwise we would have to haul all of them into the truck with at least two others helping and no guarantee they will fix/refund. Seems like a scam to me.

Provided by YP.comI didn't realize how busy this place was. I strolled in thinking they would be waiting around like those old Maytag commercials, but there was a lot of people going in and out of there. I was pretty surprised. I ended up buying a stove and a freezer and both still work fine :)

Provided by YP.comI was looking for a cute older looking stove. One of those vintage deals. I was constantly shopping around town when I had time, going from store to store. After seeing a old fridge near the look what I wanted on Mr. Appliance's facebook page and I stopped in. Mr. App explained how un-effciant on energy the vintage refrigerators were and I decided against it. I didn't buy it, but the honesty was sooo greatly appreciated!!!

Provided by YP.comI heard they have a lot of crazy commercials, but I don't watch tv so I never knew. Found them via facebook and I live near so I went by. I needed a stackable set and they happen to have some. The stackable had a dent in it but I didn't have any room for anything else. Mostly I was just happy they had one at a good price.

Provided by YP.comI have read a lot of reviews on this place. They are extremely great or not. No in between. I love the front load set I got there. Not a single problem at all this past year. They are said to be rude, but I knew exactly what I wanted. So I was in and out in about 5 min. So I didn't get any of that.

Provided by YP.comThis company should be investigated by the BBB of Oregon. They should be given 0 stars. Not only are they rude and HORRIBLE to deal with (especially the woman in there), but they are selling things in a condition that is criminal. Yesterday I had someone out to look at the six-month old refrig I'd bought from Mr. A (I had issues with Mr. A from the beginning, because it wasn't in proper working order when I got it). He took the back off and said it was filthy dirty and that was definitely old, old dirt in there. He looked under the floor of the freezer and guess what? it was COVERED with black mold. It was too scary for words. I literally paid him and went that afternoon to buy another refrig for my downstairs rental from Oldfields scratch and dent outlet, where they actually treat people respectfully and fairly and sell decent appliances. My advice: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MR. APPLIANCE, EVER.

Provided by YP.comEasy to buy...
Very poor treatment when appliance turned out to have a problem (the same day it was purchased it it started clunking and stinking)
We called to discuss repair and were told, the compressor was on its last leg and to
return it within 2 days for a full refund... then when I hauled the appliance back (a refrigerator ) myself, they claimed they did not tell us that they gave refunds and would not honor what we were told. Finally a partial refund... I hauled it both ways with help of a friend and got the worst service.

Provided by YP.comMr Appliance saved me from buying another refrigerator! I went in looking for a cheap refrigerator for the garage. Spoke with him and describing my problem he told(kinda ordered) me to bring in a part a test. He was right about the part! He sold me the part I needed. I haven't been to a lot of places that will talk me out of spending more money. Who does that?!? I will be returning!!

Provided by YP.comA little eccentric but honest. Fixes stuff even after warranty and they have popcorn! Inexpensive and near by. I am a fan.

Provided by YP.comI will never ever go to this place or refer any one to it. "Mr. Appliance" is the rudest man I have ever come into contact with. I brought a dryer down from Seattle WA, because my friend really needed one (She is going through a very nasty divorce), it worked great, but it did not fit where we needed it to go. We went to his shop to see if we could get a new one and maybe get a little trade in value for it. He looked right at me and said "Why did you bring that sh** down here! Its worthless." It maybe, but he could have said nicely that it did not have much value. All I was doing was trying to help out a friend and this guy just made our day soooooooooooooooo much worse. Needless to say we took our business somewhere else and all of you should do the same. So everyone beware, there are no professionals at this store.
