I never write reviews, but I thought that Dr. Rocheld and his staff were so deserving, I had to. I recently went to their office because I had a filling come out. Let me say I have never been to a more thorough dentist in my life. He explained every procedure in detail, took a picture of my tooth and explained all my options (as to my filling) with terms I could understand, which I like. Also, the amount of hospitality and comfort was astounding. The televisions in the ceiling were great. Everyone in the office was friendly and happy. I received the best cleaning from Jean one of the Hygienists there. Dr. Rocheld and his staff have an attention to detail that is rare in this world. I highly recommend them.

Over-billing terrible record-keeping

Dr. Rocheld turned in a claim for work done on a tooth I do not have. He also worked on and billed for at least 2 teeth without informing me he was going to do so, that were not on the original treatment plan he gave me. He also listed cheaper methods of tooth-filling (amalgams) on my original plan than he ended up using (and charged for the more expensive) without informing me he had changed his mind. Rocheld charged me personally more than my contractual copay amount for everything he did. Rocheld send us a proposed agreement to give a portion of the money back we lost, with a stipulation that we would not let other potential clients know of the trouble we have had with his office. After alerting my insurance company, Dr. Rocheld's office said they would adjust my bill, and they sent me some money back after about 4 months of wrangling with them, but they still owe me about thirty dollars, which I will likely not see because I have to quit fooling with this mess. If you have been a customer of Dr. Rocheld's in the past, I would suggest calling your insurance company and letting them help you check your bill for mistakes.

In practicing for 32 years and NEVER had anyone suggest we overbilled them or their insurance. I offered to have boobooo come in to my office to go over her treatment and she refused. We take excellent care of all of our patients and try to resolve any questions anyone has. Blue Cross agreed with the treatment we performed and what we had billed. Her next dentist confirmed the treatment we billed for was done correctly. I DO care about my reputation and this is NOT TRUE! Dr. Jack Rocheld
