Roosevelt Middle School, established in 1944, is an educational institution that has an annual enrollment of more than 650 students in grades six through eight. It is a part of Eugene School District 4J, which operates over 45 schools and teaches nearly 17,000 students. Roosevelt Middle School offers special classes in fine and applied arts, including art, drama, band, orchestra and choir. In addition, the school supports the French Immersion Program and is located in Eugene, Ore. Roosevelt Middle School employs a staff of approximately 60 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals, custodians, special education aides, speech pathologists, media specialists, school coordinators, and art and music professionals.
