I contacted Big Bear Movers to move some bedroom furniture I recently purchased for my daughters room and since it was not a big move I figured I would be pushed to the end of the schedule. Well, much to my surprise they were very accomodating of my schedule and not only did they move my things on a Sunday, I was scheduled early enough were I could still carry on with my schedule for the day. They were very courtious, quick, and careful not to damage anything and even set up the furniture where I wanted it so I would not have to move it again. Needless to say, I had one happy little girl when she got home. Big Bear Movers was very professional and I have recommended them to all my friends and family and will gladly use them again in the future.

I scheduled an appointment with them 3 weeks in advance. I was told they would arrive between 1 and 3 on the day. The day of, 3 o'clock comes and no movers. I called them and asked if they were coming and I was informed that they werent sure whether it was that day or the next. Then, "we thought you were going to call and confirm with us". No such arrangement was made.

He said they would send someone out immediately and they should arrive in an hour. 4:40 comes and no movers still. I called again and asked where they were at, I was told they were on their way. 6 o'clock comes around and no movers still.

This is not what I would call a good business, or very professional. It seems quite shady that they would say they are coming and wait for cover of darkness to actually possibly arrive.

They ended up costing me extra money for the rental of the uhaul, hours of waiting, and the hassle of finding another moving company to come out immediately.

I called Big Bear movers to move my elderly parents household contents. I was in a hurry and just called Big Bear Movers out of the blue after reading their yellow pages ad. The team arrived right on time, worked carefully and even made the effort to take special care of my parents. The team was professional and eager to do the job to our satisfaction at very reasonable rates. I wish all moves went this smoothly!

Big Bear moved me into my 1st flr apt from a storage facility. They are honest and know what they are doing, not out to "just make a buck". The owner isn't just someone who sits behind a desk, he actually was on site and helped his crew with my move and that says alot from someone who has been moving clients for over 30years. They were very accommodating to my schedule and didn't take any unnecessary risks with my furniture. The rates were superb!! I highly recommend Big Bear and his crew. Anyone who uses them won't regret it.
