took a pair of rock revivals and miss me's that were too long to Rosemary. she did a beautiful job with original stitching and the turn around time was very quick. I will continue to take all my pants and other alterations to her. thank you!

I had my wedding dress altered, my fiance's vintage suit spruced up (including a whole new back on the vest) and a cravat made for only $130. They were incredibly nice, and even were willing to take pictures of me in the dress so that I would know all the details when I went shoe shopping. And everything was perfectly altered.



Just to really drive home how cheap that is: the seamstress by the co-op in Arcata charged me $50 to reinforce buttons on a jacket.

We get all of our custom costumes for the Humboldt Fire Girls here. Margaret is a rare person to work with. Not only are her prices so very reasonable (often saving me money over purchasing from a store), her work is the best I've encountered in Humboldt. She goes above and beyond in my opinion as she saves me a ton of time, handling the entire process of getting the girls geared up without me having to micro-manage. As a small business owner, I couldn't value that part of her service more. I just tell her what I'm looking for, send her the girls and she handles the rest. I couldn't be happier. ~Brandi Winch

I got a pair of pants as a gift that fit me everywhere but the waist and they managed not only to take in the waist perfectly but to also make them look brand new like nothing had even been altered! I was very impressed. Very affordable as well.

The staff at this business can do ANYTHING!! I am so impressed with their ability to truly create the dream dress or to make the perfect alteration so that favorite old jacket still fits or can last another decade. Curtains, upholstery, garments - you name it! They can do it! They go above and beyond the call to make sure that you are completely satisfied with their work. You won't be disappointed!
