Samantha, I am sorry that it has taken us so long to reposnd to your review as we do not check them very often. I am sorry that you feel the way you do. I personally have been employed by Darrla off and on for several years and do not recall ever having a client named Samantha. Nor do I remember ever doing an in-home estimate for anyone with your name. Perhaps you are a friend of one of our clients, former clients or were present when we gave an estimate. To address the comment, "The team smells like pot and cigarettes all the time." We have a very strict policy about what goes on in our client's houses. We do not talk about them to anyone outside of our business. Being housekeepers in Humboldt County means that we may have clients with 215 cards and people are allowed to smoke in their own home. It is possible that who ever we cleaned for before we saw you, or who ever it is that you know that we cleaned for, smoked both pot and cigarettes in their home while we were there. In compliance with our privacy policy it is none of our business. Darrla's Clean Team, LLC is Licensed, Bonded, and Insured. We do Federal, State and Local background checks on our employees. When suggesting that people "Use at your own risk!" We are more than happy to provide them with referrences and proof of our licensing and insurance. If you look here and at other sites that offer services, many of the cleaners can not say the same. Once again, we are sorry that you feel the way you do. We wish that there was some way to change your opinion, but unless you use our services and see the way we clean, then I am afraid that we will not have the chance to do so.
