What a pleasant surprize!!!!!!!!!

I was traveling thru the Redwoods this past week, surfing thru the FM channels when my auto search stoped at 106.3.

What a pleasant surprize to finnally find a radio station that didn't play mostly seven-eleven music, ( songs that have only seven words and the words are repeated at least eleven times or more, for the duration of the selection). And the music: or what they call music: which is nothing but a contest to see who can scream the loudest and say the most uninteligable words, that no one in there right mind can understand..... never mind that the musical arrangement is nothing but a composition of a group of electronic gizmos being played by people that try to see how loud they can be to drown out any sembelence of the next person they are standing next to.

I listened all the way from Richardsons Grove until I lost your signal north of Crescent City, along US Hwy 101. I loved the selections that you played. It was a priviledge to here music as it is supposed to be composed, the mixture of real band and orchestra sounds, and the vocals where you could actually make sense of the words, and the songs were the kind that told a story.

Unfortunately, yours is one of those that are a dying breed. I live in Southern Oregon, and have talked to our local station managers about playing your kind of music, but all I get is " We have to go with the flow, Rock and Roll, repetition, guitars and drums are what the public want; it's the only way we can stay in business". Sadly, the old style of music is dying out, but you can be sure, that anytime I am in your listening area, KEJY will be the station I listen to.
