Established in 1965, Geggie Elementary School holds classes for students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides a flexible academic program with emphasis on the development of basic learning and thinking skills. Its support faculty consists of a nurse, speech pathologist, intervention specialist and psychologist. Geggie Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization that provides an opportunity for discussion of mutual concerns of parents and teachers and promotes communication with the school and community. The elementary school has a library that offers a collection of Internet resources, books, magazines and newspapers.
