Opened in 1999, the Writers' Colony at Dairy Hollow is a residency program for writers, artists, composers, architects and chefs. Located in Eureka Springs, Ark., the colony hosts more than 50 established and emerging writers/songwriters from around the world each year. It is one of the few writers' colonies in the South, providing room, board and other facilities to promote writing. The colony offers over 60 residencies that vary in length from one week to three months.
