We negotiated a price to trade in our BMW for a used Cadillac over the phone with a salesmen named Bill. We agreed to make a four hour drive to the dealership to buy the car. My wife drove to a LOCAL Cadillac dealer to verify the interior color. We then called Bill to conclude the deal. In concluding my conversation with Bill I agreed to pay the difference in full by check and asked for the total amount I would owe. Bill said he would call me back with the figure. He called back and after concluding the agreement Bill said, "Wait I have someone getting into the car to test drive it, I will call you right back". I assumed this meant he would walk out to the car and tell the customer, "sorry the car is sold". After 20 minutes of waiting my wife called the dealership and was told that "Bill was test driving a car". I called after another 20 minutes since we needed to start our trip to the dealership four hours away. Bill got on the phone and said the other customer was negotiating concerning the car and that Bill could not tell me for sure if we could buy the car. Keep in mind that verbally we had agreed to the price, the trade in credit and the net price . I leave it to you to figure out the game Bill was playing. He denied that we had a deal so I keeping my cool told him the obvious that I would not be doing business with him or his company. Not missing a beat, Bill then tried to talk me out of this since the other customers had been closed yet. I wonder if Bill let the other buyer know he had a buyer and that the other buyer had better jump in. In my eyes his behavior was very unethical but probably legal since no money had changed hands. Neither my wife or I would do business with this company.

Provided by YP.comMy husband and I had our hearts set on a Chevrolet Equinox. We live in Leesburg, FL and we started visiting dealerships in Lake County. We were looking for very specific features in our new vehicle. Most of the dealerships we visited were trying to push us into a different model and we were very unhappy -- until we visited Vann Gannaway Chevrolet. We met with Delores who listened to what we wanted. She was very professional and caring. We felt very comfortable working with her. She and her manager did not stop until they found the exact vehicle we wanted. They were very patient with us and our experience was wonderful. We highly recommend Vann Gannaway Chevrolet!!

I bought A 2010 silverado crew cab from Delores in Dec. 2009 She made my buying experience a breeze. Last week she even remembered my birthday!!! I'm done with Ford and it is chevy all the way!

Worst service ive ever experienced, especially the collision center manager Tom. Just had to repaint the front in and messed up more then they fixed, then wanted to cuss me out over it and said he had his best guy working on it, theres no way. Would never do business with again. Worst service ever.

I had a bad experience with the service department here. I will NEVER bring my vehicle here again. The service manager is rude and has lacked professionalism. My Chevy Avalanche was recently in an accident and I am taking it to the local Ford dealer for repairs because of my past experiences with Van Gannaway Chevy. If he looses his job then I would go back, but not until then.
