Greenbrier Middle School, established in 2000, has an enrollment of more than 800 students in grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as family and consumer science, business studies, information technology, fine arts, English, mathematics, social studies, computers and physical education. The sports activities offered by the school include baseball, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, tennis, softball and football. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, which includes art club, yearbook, academic bowl, dramatics, earth club and Future Business Leaders of America. It also provides nutrition counseling, food and transportation services to students. The school is affiliated with the Columbia County Board of Education.
