nice people and reasonable rates better than evans fitness i was a member of evans fitness for 2 days and cancelled

I have worked out here since I moved from Atlanta almost 5 years ago. It is so friendly and comfortable; not chaotic. A nice mix of people, young and older. There is a great selection of classes (Les Mills program of classes are great). The teachers are very skilled and energized. I work out on the machines as well. My husband has an awesome personal trainer. We have found our exercise home.

I just joined this gym a months ago and honestly I don't know what the bad reviews are about? The front desk girls always say hi and know my name...this gym has the most equipment I have ever seen a health club! and they have over 150 pieces of cardio... I suggest you read the agreement before you sign it,,.All these issues seem to be contractual ??

I went to the gym to cancel my membership since I've been having back problems and can't make it and the girl behind the desk handed me the card for their billing company and told me to call them. The company told me that I had been locked into a 2 year contract. The girl on the phone apologized but said that she couldn't do anything about it. I was told when I signed up (and I asked several times) that cancelling my membership would not be an issue. Never once did I see--and I did read--or hear anything about being signed up for two year! I was taken aback and I called the gym to further inquire about the issue. Spoke to a guy named Larry who was a complete jerk and insulted me personally for being to stupid to read what I signed. It is rare that I see such arrogance in an individual and I can truly say that I have never seen such an unprofessional and unfriendly display.



This place is a disgrace and does not deserve its customers or it's front desk staff. The individuals staffed at the front desk is very friendly but as mentioned in some of the reviews on this website, the people behind the doors are nasty. I joined this place when it was new and was able to leave after a summer without any hassle. Not sure if they've changed members since then but I am beginning to see the dark side of Quantum Fitness. This used to be such a nice place and I hate to see it go down the drain, even the look of it had faded--dirty equipment and poorly maintained locker rooms to boot.



Once this company has obtained your money and signature they will not let you leave, so be aware of the difficulty if you make the decision to join. Also be aware that behind the dazzling tours and overall friendly facade, there is a treasure trove of carelessness and greed.



This place has lost its humanity and I am very sorry to see it.

Kris from the gym is a complete pain to work with. These people will sugarcoat things but never holds up to their contracts. The gym times are never correct. The equipment is comparable to any other local gym. When my contract renewal came about, they auto renewed it without my authority and then when I tried to cancel it they were combative and rude. It was like unleashing the demons that these people keep hidden. I go down to cancel and I get the run around, I call to cancel, I get the run around. Finally Kris calls me and says she will work it out with her bosses and a month later I get a completely rude email from her basically stating tough luck. I would never recommend this gym to ANYBODY. These people do not know what good business practice is.

Don't bother going here. They pressure you for a membership and then won't let you cancel out of it. I have moved away and because of a contract I can't cancel. I have never even set foot in the gym expect to tour it. It is ridiculous, the front desk staff is anything but helpful if you want to cancel your membership. Luckily I have kept track of all my calls and recorded logs to show that I have been trying to discontinue my membership there. I get a monthly membership but a yearly auto renew membership is a silent scam.

Worst gym that I have ever been to. They will tell you what ever you want to hear to sign a contract and you can't even cancel till the year is up. You basically pay for a service you don't want or will never use.

It is obvious to me that being a member of Omni (Now Quantum fitness) since April 2003 you don’t have a clue what you’re saying...The gym was built in 2000 and has been remodeled twice since then.. Last time when the new owners took over last year in August, , Great Club!

Really I have no idea what or why there are any negatitive comments!! This keep is huge, clean, new equipment, friendly, and even the front desk girls always say hi every morning when i go to workout... When it was omni it started to lose some of its appeal, but the New Owners have spent time and money bringing back all the great things to the club... LOVE THIS GYM!

I don't understand the above reviews. I have been a member since 2002 and have never had a problem. I know before the new owners took over last year there was a LOT of shady stuff going on with the management and trainers. The former manager was fired for stealing, one of the trainers was always on the phone talking and texting while training clients, but the new owners don't seem to put up with that. I do however find it odd that the only two comments on here have appeared just before the opening of the new gym in evans and that one of the owners there has a vendetta against this gym. Anyway, I like a gym that is a gym and that is where Quantum fits the bill for me. By the way, the new owners have been here for only about a year and so far no shenanigans, they have been professional and friendly.

Terrible gym! Worst gym that I have ever been to. Staff is extremely shady and will tell you what ever you want to hear to sign a contract.
