Established in 1965, Chiaravalle Montessori School is a private school serving Cook County in Illinois. It provides classes to more than 350 students in prekindergarten through grade eight. Its building hosts a gymnasium, community room and stage, an art room, library collection and a public park used as playground. The school provides a wide range of programs based on individually focused education and social development, including full- and partial-day programs. Disappointing

Not very sincere and overall stuffy atmosphere. Things are somehow different then in the past years we have attended Chiaravalle. This is our third and final year. I don't trust these new teacher's judgment and ability to communicate. I heard from one parent that her child was made to sit in the bathroom and cry when she was sad. It was quite a big deal. They just can't seem to connect to the children and are more frigid then in out past experiences with the oldest one's teachers. I don't know why everyone seems so aloof and unhappy but it effects my child's education and I am not paying for what they are giving. It's crushing in a way. I have heard so much gossip and now I'm starting to believe it was all true. I hate wondering what's really going on but I know they hide a lot from the parents too.
