I am writing to highly recommend Jeremy Bloomfield as a committed, thoughtful, intelligent psychotherapist here on the north shore of Chicago. I was in a consultation group facilitated by Dr. Bloomfield in his office. Beyond the innate traits one expects in a mental health practitioner (warm, curious, welcoming stance), Dr. Bloomfield exudes a passion, informed by his recent psychoanalytic credentialing, that provides for a satisfying learning experience and, for his patients, healing.

I am a psychiatrist who has worked on the cases of several shared patients with Dr. Bloomfield over the past few years. He is a tremendously dedicated, extraordinarily insightful psychotherapist who conducts his practice with the utmost integrity and with absolute commitment to the ethical codes of his profession. I have recommended him to both patients and friends and will continue to do so.

I have been to a few therapists. I worked with Dr. B because he helped me to feel safe while talking about very difficult issues.

Dr. Bloomfield helped me to understand and manage my difficulties in ways I never would have expected, but in the end made good sense. He is knowledgeable, skilled, patient and calm.
