I ordered made to order ceramic tiles in November for our kitchen backsplash for a client and it was delivered on time. The Portuguese limestone for the bathroom took a little longer but since we did not want to start the job without the backsplash there was no harm. I have now purchased tiles several times there and the gentleman is a lot more helpful and knowledgeable that people at some other places.

We ordered tile from TileWorks and it has been a nightmare. We paid in full at the time of purchase. We have waited now for months. The owner claims he cannot provide us with a date of delivery nor has he provided any way to track our order. He has not answered our phone calls and rarely responds to our emails. I would never have paid by check in retrospect. I would have asked for proof of order and a means to track the order. In short, I would have never ordered my tile from this vendor. It's been a huge disappointment.

We went there looking for limestone for a bathroom because it is more understated and less formal than marble for our house in the suburbs. They have it all, about 10 different shades coming in pretty much any size, floors, walls. We looked also at a more weathered looking limestone for our kitchen floor coming in different size in a pattern. No one has the selection they have. The owner was very patient with us and informative in helping us make our selection.

I have tried flooring stores carrying carpeting and wood but their selection was very poor in tiles. I have tried stocking warehouses but their selection was low end as well with limited stock anyway. No wonder that Tileworks seems to source all its tiles from out of state. Great place. Great location.
