Provided by YP.comGreat establishment that survived the slander of an unhappy owner because of the neglect of HER animal that had to be taken care of by the groomer with proper notice, calls, and forms signed!!
Remember folks, not everything you see on the internet is true!

Provided by YP.comI am not at all affiliated but these people are being targeted by an ignorant woman who didn't brush out there dog!
The true abuse is the owners like some of you.... who let your dogs get PAINFULLY matted and then expect us to inflict MORE pain by brushing it out...leaving red and sore skin. You all are ignorant to the actual facts! Stop believing everything social media tells you CHILDREN/

Provided by YP.comI would be absolutely devastated to take a collie (rough) to you people and have it come back shaved like the last collie you ruined. YOU DON'T shave a double coated dog. I would be suing you if it were mine. Shame on you. You are definately in the wrong business My groomer wouldn't cut a hair without asking me.

Provided by YPmobileYou need to offer the owners money back plus anything needed to keep this breed from getting sick. All costs should be willingly paid by your business. You should be shut down and sued. Even if you feel you were not doing anything wrong YOU DID! ! SO HELP KEEP THIS BEAUTY WARM UNTIL HER FUR GROWS BACK! ! CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THIS IS THE LAST YOU OWE THEM. I will pray that justice is served against you.

Provided by YPmobileAll of the 1 star comments are in regards to a 13 year old double coated dog that was matted and would have been CRUEL to try and de-matt. most of the people have never stepped into the shop.
Slandering a business because they did something for an animal in need is childish and petty. As a certified groomer i can honestly say that i have had to shave a double coat. When an owner does not take care of their dogs coat as each dogs specific needs entail they can become matted and the coat can become too far to fix.
Dog Humanity before Owner vanity

Provided by YPmobileMany owners don't understand double coated dogs require line brushing to remove bulk and allow the skin to breathe. A well circulated skin keeps the dog from over or under heating. When the skin can't breathe it can't regulate temperature effectively. Here's an article on line brushing. This groomer should be commended for doing what was best for the dog. The owner just doesn't understand how to line brush a coat like this so it never has to be shaved.

Provided by YPmobileI have been taking my cats here for almost 4 years now and I have never had a bad experience! Always quick in and quick out with an amazing cut! Let me remind you all that these are CATS also! It's very hard to groom cats and to groom them well! I would recommend this place to anyone who asks!

Provided by YPmobileI haven't been here nor have half of these people just responding to an uneducated dog owner on grooming. These people at this salon not only saved you hundreds of dollars but not sending you to a vet to get a medical shave down which ranged from 400-700 depending on where you go but they saved this 13 yr old collie pain and stress which could of caused other health issues but if they hadn't an the owner didn't bring somewhere else the dog would have either had serious skin irritation and causing infection or the hair would eventually fall out and lose the hair premently so before everyone including the owner assumes you know when you don't judge on mess up someone's reputation based on something you saw on news on Facebook these girls helped this poor old dog an of course you won't see that if your not a groomer or have a dog with this type of coat educate yourself before getting a long coat if u don't have the time to brush everyday with a grayhound comb n slicker brush perhaps a short hair dog is for you. Girls at the salon keep putting vanity first keep thinking o the dogs well being and health because not seems the owner doesn't and she has a lot of stupid uneducated followers I'm sorry this is happening to your business

Provided by YP.comNot a review just a concern, Most of these negative comments only came after the "rough coat collie" (not bearded collie) owner threw a fit. Most of you have never even been there. (neither have I) So why try to destroy a business if you don't actually have any first hand knowledge of it?

Provided by YPmobileI am also a groomer and a top facility. Iv seen many people complain to various groomers when it comes to shaving dogs. The owners don't realize it's not the shaving that hurts the dog it the lack of good brushing and matts you leave in the dog. Take the collie for instance. I seen pics on fb. I could tell by just looking at it that the dog is matted especially near the back. This groomer was doing most of the right thing. On the phone the owner should have had a choice to shave or come take cause something like that I wouldn't even try to fix. So to this Kathryn owner, maybe you should just do it yourself and see what groomers go through. Kudos to this place for caring about the dog and not the owner 100%

Provided by YPmobileDoesn't listen to the clients needs. Doesn't call if they shave your dog. Unsafe for any animal to be groomed at.

Provided by YP.com19 years in business must mean 19 years of abusing animals the mess you made of the collie is horrible the human society will be called before this is over and report you people for animal abuse the owners of the collie needs to call the news media to have them to to investigate your business

Provided by YPmobileReading through all the of negative comments and I am very surprised at how many people place blame on a place without knowing the full story. Lets all destroy a business because of one persons post on Facebook without doing any research on what really happened. How do you know that the "shaved dog" was not completely matted to the skin? I find it hard to believe that a groomer at this place would do something so drastic as to shave a dog down to the skin without notifying the owner first. Don't post negative comments without knowing all of the facts. Shame on you!

Provided by YPmobileMy aunt recently purchased a goldendoodle on a whim. She wandered Into your salon with a few questions and you guys were great. She truly did not know what she had gotten herself into, but your groomer took 45 minutes out of her busy day to explain the importance of home maintenance and regular grooming. you guys really helped her feel like she could handle caring for bentley, she left there with a new confidence
