Founded in 1974, Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging is local area agency on aging offers a variety of services to the elderly and the disabled. It offers a wide variety of programs and services designed to help the senior, disabled and at-risk adults. The agency offers various services that include information, assistance, education, outreach, translation and assessment services, and income support and material aid. Additionally, it provides contract services, such as case management, transportation, counseling, caregiver support group, caregiver training, respite and supplemental services. It provides a full line of recreational activities and games, such as clabber, Bible study, bingo, line dancing, exercise, band practice, ball room dancing and knitting. Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging is located in Evansville, Ind.
