I reserved a room at this hotel for a Friday and Saturday night as a place to stay during a weekend women’s bible camp. Friday night, other guests were drunk, loud, yelling, fighting, and slamming doors until 1:30 AM. I also heard a man in the hallway Saturday morning complaining that he had been bitten by bed bugs all night.

Saturday afternoon I went to the front desk to speak to the manager about the night before. He (the owner) said he didn’t care, wasn’t going to do anything about it, and if I didn’t like it I could leave. 47 of their 50 rooms were booked by wedding guests and he would not enforce the quiet hours (starting at 11:00 PM.) They would be allowed to be as loud as they want as late as they want. Just like the night before.

I told him (the owner) I was going to write a review on TripAdvisor. He went into a furious rage and began waving his arms around and yelled, “Get out! Get out! If you are going to write online reviews I am kicking you out! You are kicked out! Get out now!” I had no place else to go or stay but he said he was kicking me out. He also called the police and they showed up to make sure I left. I called Visa to make sure I was not going to be charged for this disaster. While I was on the phone with Visa, the owner came to my room door and yelled at me to get out (Visa has this recorded).

I packed up and left and, as I was leaving, I noticed several mattresses next to the hotel dumpster. Sure enough…. Well… I can't attach the photos here but you can see them on tripadvisor and you can judge for yourself what you see. Would you like to sleep on those? I wouldn’t.

I would never ever stay at this hotel again. It is like an all-night frat party with no adult supervision and it is filthy. The owner does not care.

I've stayed here many, many times and consider it one of the best for miles around. Always clean and the rates are pretty hard to beat. Nice pool and whirlpool with a decent continental breakfast. I would recommend this Super 8 to anyone.
