Rhea County High School, located in Dayton, Tenn., is a comprehensive high school that offers students an option of three academic paths that includes university, dual and technical paths. It offers honors level classes in English, science and social studies and its vocational-technical department has seven articulation agreements with six community colleges. The school enrolls more than 1,500 students. Its extracurricular activities include fine arts, music, band, dance and drama classes. The school s sports activities include basketball, volleyball and football. It additionally provides programs in career, technical and agricultural education. It provides a guidance program for individuals, group counseling and conferences to students, teachers and parents.
