I called to get a quote to get a broken window replaced on the second floor of my house. A single pane, in a wood frame. I called the measurements in 44" x 27 1/12 ". They insisted on doing 2 trips. An estimate and then the install. An employee came out the next day and their estimate included a 5 minute visit by the employee, who stood on the ground and raised his tape measure up to get the approximate size. Goldfinch brothers called me at 11:27 am, and said their bid was $360. I live 3 miles away and always to use local companies. Icalled Speedy Glass in Bothell and they did an excellent job for $250 including tax.

I had them get me glass for an internal kitchen door. I choose to have them install it because I figured they would do a better job than me so I got the cheap version of install which was to just caulk it, but I assumed for $40 they would make it look professionally done. When I got the door I checked the quality of work and it was horrible!!! when I realized I paid them $40 to slap on $2 caulk and they did a worse job than I can do (I just caulked floorboard in my bathroom), I requested money back. Their response was that they would give me some trim pieces that I could put on myself or they would do it for another $20 (I refused the offer). I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Took a table top design to them, and got some first class plate glass pieces made up for the project. They came recommended from lots of locals in Everett.

Pre scheduled an in house estimation / bid appointment with a 3 hr window for a representative to arrive. 3 1/2 hrs later a "no show" not even a phone call indicating an arrival time or cancellation. What a waste of my time.

These guys are totally pro! I have had two homes done by them, and I have to say that their service and product are fantastic. 100x better than the fricking Penguin dough-heads who wouldn't even return my calls, and wanted $15K for a set of windows installed that Goldfinch did for $4k, with a a better warranty! OK, so there's no free HDTV or anything from Goldfinch, but the wise shopper will realize that there is no such thing as free :-)
