The Greens of Merrill Creek is a great apartment complex. My reasoning is that if you are looking for a great value, a decent apartment home, and in a better area in Everett then this is the place. Yes, there was an issue with the trash in the past. This was due to lazy parents sending their kids out who couldn't lift the trash into the dumpster. And, those who were to lazy to walk to the compactor. Management cracked down on it and has everyone use the compactor now. I have called the office when my dryer wasn't working properly. A couple of hours from the call maintenance came and repaired it. I am not fond of apartment living in general; but, here it isn't so bad. The management and maintenance staff are all very friendly. There are three playgrounds on site which my kids love. Also, there are resources you can use such as computer, fax machine, etc. The location couldn't be better-- close to the Boeing freeway. The grounds are maintained year long. There is a nice outdoor pool and hot tub. I feel like if there is ever a problem I can trust management to handle it. There may have been issues in the past; but, this place is cleaning up nicely. The crew here works very hard and they deserve kudos! I am glad that I moved here. Great apartment bang for your buck.

I am not usually someone who complains. I am usually very passive, but my experience here was horrible.



First of all, THE GARBAGE situation is horrible. There is one compactor for the whole complex and it seems to always be broken. Trash piles up all around the compactor, including old dirty furniture, mattresses and piles of overflowing trash bags. It is so bad, the wind blows the trash all over around the apartment buildings and since it is not in immediate view of potential new tenants they don't care. I had to walk past DIRTY DIAPERS, BROKEN BEER BOTTLES, CIGARETTE BUTTS, and overall disgusting GARBAGE whenever I came home. I never invited anyone over because I was so embarrassed of how dirty it was. I called the office and they were rude and never did anything to clean the area up.



I also called and left multiple messages about getting MAINTENANCE on my garbage disposal and dryer. They never once had anyone come out to fix either item, and if I ever left any messages they were NEVER returned.



OUR VEHICLES WERE BROKEN INTO MULTIPLE TIMES, some of which included windows being broken out. Anything of value was taken. I called the office each time to let them know. They didn't seem to care, and I never once saw any sort of notification letting the rest of the tenants know of the issues so that they could be aware and take any precautions to save them from the same inconvenience.



Although the cost the living may seem amazing, what we lost to theft and the damages to our belongings does not even compare.
