My bike wouldnt start. I left it uncovered, outside in the rain. my fault. and lastats said I had a corrosion problem. He CLAIMS to have fixed that. also added a starter, 300.00. He said I still had a problem that I needed a battery. Before I took it to him, I had my battery checked at Pacific Power Battery. They said it was fine. I told him that I had had it already checked but he said no you need a battery. He claims to have put a new one in, 500.00 more dollars, cash only as he said they dont take credit cards, 800.00 total, got it home. Problem fixed right? The next day I rode it roughly 3 miles to the store. After shopping I went to start it, nothing. Had to waste my insurance tow to get it home. I talked to him once, he said he would call me the next day to come by and 'charge' it and havnt heard from him since. That was roughly April25,2016. Iv'e tried to contact him numerous times since then with absolutely no contact. I have filed a claim with the BBB. Just want my money back

I have a 1981 Honda Goldwing 1...

I have a 1981 Honda Goldwing 1100. It started leaking from the front forks and it had a miss at low RPM.s. I took it to Lastat's Customs & motorcycle repair and asked them to change the fork seals. I also asked them to give me a diagnostic check to find out the source of the miss fire. I told them to not do any other repairs unless they cleared it with me first. the price was set at $291 plus tax.

When I got the bike back, Daniel said he synchronized the carbs and put in new plugs. He also said the front brake pads were wet from absorbing the fork fluid that leaked. I know this is not the case as I not only know my bike but the seals had only a small leak and only for a very short time.

When I drove it home, it still had the miss fire, the front breaks were not good AND the speedometer didn't work. Daniel also said that he couldn't get the front tire to hold air, but since I have gotten it home it hasn't leaked air at all.

I began to fear what else might go wrong as they did not appear to know what they were doing or what they were talking about

I called them and they told me to bring it back and they would make it right

They did fix the speedometer. but the bike still has the miss. They bled the brakes but they are still not good.

My bike is almost right where it was when I first took it there if not worse. I got new fork seals and sparkplugs but the bike still misses and the brakes are bad.

I won't say don't go here, that's up to you. they are nice enough people, but because I went there I do not feel safe on my own bike now. this is me again it is now august 28 th and my forks are leaking again so after paying over 300 for a diagnostic check and new fork seals i am back where i started i would highly advise anyone to go somewhere else and my rating of this place is -5, also the miss in my engine was a bad coil i found this out by replacing the carbs and fuel pump which i had from an other bike when that didnt help i figured it had to be electrical and i switched coils it now runs great im not even close to being a mechanic but if i could fix it why couldnt a so called certified tech

Stay away from this shop unless you want to learn all the hard lessons I did. The guy who runs this place is about one step below a back yard hack. I got my bike back pretty screwed up with things not connected right and it ran like #$%$. I wont take it back there to fix it because of the fear I might wind up injured from that clowns mistakes. Any of the reviews you read here are from the old shop that was here before this #$%$ clown took it over.

I am a Kymco 2004 Bet&Win Scoo...

I am a Kymco 2004 Bet&Win Scooter owner and my experience with SSU, Adrian and Daniel, has been stellar. Absolutely five stars for this two-man all-cycle service department. I had a few very disappointing experiences with scooter-specific shops elsewhere and it took me a while to take a chance on a "motorcycle" shop. Now that I have found it I will never go elsewhere. It doesn't have the neon signage and retail departments of other shops. However, they know what they are doing, which is refreshing. And they're very nice. They fixed the carburetor the specialty scooter shop in Seattle nearly destroyed. Go figure. They also replaced the air filter, drive belt, and pulley weights with my aftermarket upgrades, changed all fluids, and tuned the kid to purrrrr. The scooter now runs ridiculously well. Cycle owners everywhere, whether motorcycle, scooter, or whatever else there is... this is the real deal.

i took my 2004 ducati monster ...

i took my 2004 ducati monster s4r to adrian @ SSU for a much-needed 12k service (a major service interval for a ducati). wow - the bike rides great, sounds fantastic & is as quirk-free as a duc is going to get.

i got a terrific deal, and i got one properly dialed-in bike. adrian knows what he's going - i highly recommend him.

Took my Harley to these guys t...

Took my Harley to these guys to try them out since they quoted me over 50% less than what the dealer did for now tires and a service. Needless to say that will be the last time I ever go to Cycle Barn. Not only was the price better, the service could not be beat. They shuttled me home after I dropped off my bike and stayed open late for me to pick it up. Truly the last good motorcycle shop left around!

Great Job Great Customer Service

I bought a used bike a while back and like any used bike it required some general maintance. After calling around for price quotes I discovered this shop, which fortunately for me is also only two blocks from my work and I have been a loyal customer ever since. I have had a variety of work done to my bike including clutch replacement, brakes, tires, and electrical system and I have never been anything but satisfied with both the work done and the pricing. He also stands behind his work and takes a genuine pride in giving the customer the highest quality service possible. If there is a problem with the repair work, regardless of wether or not it was the shops fault, he will fix it . I would recommend him to any one on two wheels that doesn't have the time, space, tools, or knowledge to maintain there machine.

Got the other places beat

I am not much for large dealers and was looking for a neighborhood shop to have my bike serviced at where I can establish a good relationship with my mechanic. I believe I found just the place. Great service at a price that I was not expecting (a LOT less). And they are just up the street!

Thanks guys!

Long time customer

Since the days this shop was located in Redmond, I have been taking my bikes to the owner, Adrian for service on a regular basis. I come up all the way from Seattle and it is worth the trip. Dude is always there for me when I need him. Just dont bring him your bike dirty or he will clean it for you and give you the dirty bike lecture!LOL‎

WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD

BROUGHT HIM MY BIKE AND 5 MONTHS LATER IT'S STILL THERE WAITING ON "OTHER PROJECTS TO BE COMPLETED, SO I CAN GET TO YOUR BIKE" I'VE ALREADY PAID HIM AND HE HAS EVERYTHING HE NEEDS TO GET IT DONE. MAKES PROMICES AND "FORGETS" ABOUT IT. ABSOLUTE FAILURE! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only place to take your motorcycle

I brought these guys my 99 GSXR600 adn they did a rocking job. When I got my bike back I never realized how much power it really did have. These guys were able to take my pretty beat bike and turn it into a ripping machine. I had no idea how fast it was suppose to be until they got a hold of it.

Definitely check these guys out. You cant beat the price either!

Be careful...

They do offer a discounted price, but I found that you get what you pay for. Two services done, both had to be taken back. One left me stranded. Now, he did come and fix it at the location where the bike broke down to be fair but if I was actually riding the bike further, it would have caused me to wreck.

The second was rushed work which ended up not showing up until a few months down the road. Again, he offered to fix it but I would have to wait a month. He is overloaded most of the time and doesn't have enough help in my opinion. I will never use him again. Check your work if you do use them.

We do apologize about the first mishap. We stand behind everything we do for 90 days. Your first repair failed due to a faulty part not shoddy workmanship. We are sorry but we do not have any control over how OEM parts are manufactured and we can only assume that they will perform as expected. Your repair was fixed with no questions on the spot. If you had thought your first service was shoddy why did you take it in for another repair? Your second work order left our shop in working order. Almost a full year later you came back to us with a problem. Even though you were outside of your warranty period, we offered to repair the failed parts even though we found out that your modified after market exhaust system YOU fitted was what caused it to burn through a hose. And although we told you it would take a month, we had a large backlog of work. We simply cannot put a customer ahead of everyone else who has patiently waited to get their bike repair form someone who has a warranty claim 6 months past the warranty period with a problem caused by the customer in the first place. Yes we are overloaded because we have repeat recommendations from many customers who are satisfied with our service. We keep your cost low by keeping our overhead low. This means less staff. The cost of running a motorcycle shop is huge and if we had more staff we would have to pass it on to you the customer. We also know that things do not always go perfect. They are mechanical and they do break and this is why we back all of our work for 90 days no questions asked. We are sorry we could not please you in our extended efforts to provide the best service we can.
